Oaktree’s Bruce Karsh bought Harvey Weinstein’s townhouse

Talk about a distressed asset. Bruce Karsh, chief investment officer at private equity giant Oaktree Capital Management, is the buyer of disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein’s Greenwich Village townhouse. The Oaktree executive bought the house on Bank Street for $25.6 million last month through an entity called Cheget LLC, according to property records. The house wasn’t publicly listed.
