Amazon chief Jeff Bezos has paid $165 million to purchase David Geffen’s Beverly Hills estate, setting a new record for a Los Angeles-area home. Geffen’s Warner Estate lies on nine acres, and the entertainment mogul paid $47.5 million for the property in 1990, a record at the time.
