Shuttered upstate NY prison is trying to sell itself to Canadian companies

A former prison in Franklin County is looking for fresh start. The former Chateaugay Correctional Facility will be auctioned off this July by the state with the starting price of $100,000, the New York Post reports, and the state has some ideas of who the ideal buyer might be.
